My next pit stop for nearly 2 months was Siem Reap, Cambodia, teaching English at Sacred Hearts School with AboutAsia volunteer program. With the pain of the Polpot era still close to their hearts, the cambodian people are some of the most resilient you will meet after overcoming so much in their recent history their sense of community is overwhelming. I taught 2 classes of 20 children for the duration of my stay and it was so much fun watching them develop in their English skills and seeing them improve so much from my time there, so worthwhile.
