Here are some of my original drawings for IMPRESSION (printing)... the theme was based around urban lines and structures in Paris! Unfortunately we literally only had about a week to produce the drawings and make our prints...which definately was not enough time! Whilst the french girls on the otherhand had the whole summer! Hence the drawings and printwork is very basic in my opinion....
Based on the chimney lines on the horizon, taken from drawing out of rough sketchbook 'A view of sacre couer'....

Original drawing of landscape...I then traced over shapes to find BASIC pattern...
I found that especially for this 'cour' it was particularly difficult to be liberal, as the teachers required a specific type of drawing from you...such as the us of graphical lines and simple shapes which could then be played around with within the atelier...
